Privacy

What is stored, why it is stored, and what is not done with it.

What is stored

Your email address, used to sign you in and to reach you about your account.

Your profile: handle, display name, and any gamertags, platform, region, mic and competition preferences you choose to add. All of it is optional except the handle, and all of it is entered by you.

Your requests and the taps on them: what you posted, which feeds it went to, who tapped I'll run, and who you connected with.

Billing state — which plan you are on and when the period ends. Card details are held by Stripe, never by 2KCommunity.

Who can see it

Your handle, display name and live posts are public — that is the board, and it is browsable without an account.

Your gamertags and contact fields are visible to signed-in players only. That is the trade the site is built on: seeing who is online is free, and reaching them requires an account.

Blocks are private and silent. The person you blocked is not told.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase, which hosts the database and handles sign-in. Payments are processed by Stripe. Those are the two services that hold anything about you.

What is not done

No advertising. No analytics or tracking scripts of any kind — there are none on this site, on any page. No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.

Profile videos are YouTube embeds that load only when you press play; until then YouTube learns nothing about your visit.

The only thing kept in your browser is your light or dark theme preference, stored locally so the page does not flash the wrong colour before it loads. It is not sent anywhere.

Deleting your account

Email contact@2kcommunity.com and your account and its data will be deleted. Deleting the account removes the profile, the requests and the taps that belong to it.

Changes
