About

2KCommunity is a teammate finder for NBA 2K. It does one thing: it tells you who is online and looking to run, right now.

Why five minutes

Every other way of finding teammates shows you a wall of posts, most of them hours or days old. You message twenty people and three are still awake.

A request here goes live for five minutes and then expires. That is the whole idea. Everything you see is someone who was at their console within the last five minutes, because nothing else survives that long.

The message is the tap

There are no direct messages here, and there is no free-text box anywhere in the connection flow. If you want to run with someone, you tap I'll run. If they want you, they pick you, and you get their gamertag.

That is deliberate. A DM system is a moderation problem, an abuse surface, and one more inbox to check — and it does not get you into a game any faster. The invite happens on your console, the way it already did. This site is the part before that, and it gets out of the way once it has done its job.

Free to use

The teammate finder works on a free account. Posting, browsing, tapping in and connecting are all free, and they are meant to stay that way.

Paid plans add speed and reach — shorter waits between posts, more feeds at once, filters and saved searches. They do not unlock the ability to find teammates, because that is the product.
