Five-Stack

noungeneral gaming slang

A coordinated five-player group that entered matchmaking together.

In Rec, a five-stack usually has defined roles, communication, and planned offense or defense. Solo players often use the term when they feel an organized team has an unfair coordination advantage.

Used in a sentence

“We loaded into Rec and faced a five-stack running zone.”
